Been a while...

Ok... A lot has happened since I last posted... On March 20th Aaron SBN and I celebrated our birthdays really randomly... We were all getting a late night bite to eat and Aaron nim was like... Hey "IT'S MARCH 20th"!!! Our eyes instantly lit up and we knew it was time to celebrate! We devoured various pan chan dishes, the best fried eggs sunny side up and a main dish of pork foot!... Which was delicious... Then we also were culturally enriched with the introduction to (Mak-Ollie) a traditional Korean rice wine beverage that is served iced... I found it to be very pleasant and refreshing as did the rest of us foreigner's... All in all we had a GREAT TIME! THANK YOU SO MUCH Y.E.H.A. CAPTAINS FOR SUCH AN AWESOME TIME!

Two days later we were off to Jeju island where were greeted by In Ja nim and Costa Diva! Today was a very special day because it was DANIELLE NIM'S BIRTHDAY!!! But first we had to take care of business! We had a demonstration to perform straight off the plane at one of the local universities... Then we had another Y.E.H.A. night where we danced with the members, performed Chun Bu Shin Gong and the Phoenix Dance and celebrated Danielle nim's birthday... Aaron and I were lucky enough to have the whole center sing happy birthday to us along with Danielle... We had what I consider to be one of the best cakes in the world, a variety of pastries and drinks and all kinds of yummy yum yums! ;D

While in Jeju we had a main event demonstration at the Jeju island Convention center... We had a great time performing and the Dangun B Boys never cease to amaze me! They are so talented! Also in Jeju we were lucky enough to visit Cow Island (I forgot how to pronounce it in Korean) There we rented scooters and drove around the whole island! It was SOOOOOOO FUN!!! I had never been on a scooter before but I think it's inspired to get one once I get back home... I can't wait! That same day we got to got to the beach where the water was blue like Hawaii! Aaron nim and I managed to throw ourselves in the water and went for a quick swim... I was over it pretty fast though... I'm no polar bear swimmer... Also another highlight of Jeju island was the opportunity to visit Love Land... There we had SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! MY GOD!!! THAT PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!!! I wish we could have gone there during the day! I know that some day I will go back there... Maybe I can plan a vacation back to Korea and Jeju Island so that I can have more time to frolic and really soak up the culture of the local people...

Today we flew back to the mainland and made our way back Kook Hak Won... HA! I didn't know we were going to lunch so fast and all of a sudden Ana nim is knocking on my door all like... BRANDON! WE'RE ALL WAITING FOR YOU IN THE VAN!!! I was like half naked and laying in bed reading emails... I had to let this lunch session go... I know there will be others... I did laundry and took a well deserved nap... But accidently went into dinner late! (one of those days)... I found myself @ a dining hall with locked doors and the lights off!!! But I was able to catch a comforting remind me of home dinner at Mc Donalds during our trip to EMART!!! There I indulged in a Combo #6 Shanghai Spice Fried Chicken Sandwich!!! It was delicious! (THANKS WU NIM!!!)
On the ride home we had one of the most intense HSP training sessions of my life! Wow! That's all I can say... Wow...

Well it's time for me to hit the hay! Love ya'll and GOOD NIGHT!!!! MuAh!

FiIRST Y.E.H.A. DAY!

So today we had our first Y.E.H.A. Day @ one of the local Dahn centers in Seoul... We demonstrated Chun Bu Shin Gong and The Phoenix Dance... The Korean Y.E.H.A. members were so much fun and so cute! I really enjoyed sharing energy with them... Aaron Sa Bam Nim lead the Brain Wave Vibration exercise after his lecture... All of the Y.E.H.A. members participated 100%!!! (=D)
The energy of the Brain Wave Vibration was like that of a huge dance party... Everybody in the room was shaking and screaming with joy... Truly experiencing Nwe Pa Jin Dong!!! After the training many hugs were exchanged and many photos were taken....
(I hope I get to see all of them!) This day was so far one of my favorite days out here in Korea!... I will never forget this day!
Thank you so much Korean Y.E.H.A.!!! I hope we all get to do this again soon @ the upcoming camps!
CHUN JI KI WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!! (=D)

Just being honest

So this is my first post!...I can't believe it's only the 17th of March! We've been so busy lately that it seems like we've been in Korea much longer!...My energy feels good! My mind is very clear...But my soul misses home...My soul misses my girlfriend!!! My soul is also yearning for zipping down smooth city streets on four wheels of fiery thunder and 8 ply's of finely modified wood beneath my feet... This is why my training goes hand in hand with my passion... Training gets my body in healthy physical condition so I can enjoy life as much as possible... I actually feel that this is one of my main purposes this lifetime... To enjoy as much as possible... My passion sets my body free for my soul to govern in it's own clumsy and foolish way... Every time I step on my board it's a great way to exercise my faith and at the same time accumulate strength... Today SSN talked about training being similar to surfing... That makes me feel good... Because skateboarding was born from surfing...
That's why the old timers called it sidewalk surfing... Because they would skate to the beach to surf and then skate around after the tide died down...
But I know my soul will also be satisfied once this mission is over as well... Because deep down inside I know my life has been leading to this... I'm here because I made a promise a few years back in 2003 to my JWJN that I would come back and train... and my promises lead to good things... I feel I'm here to let people know that they all have incredible healing energy! That once they tap into it... There is nothing that they cannot heal... Nothing.
I've been trying to conserve my energy lately...
I do that by keeping quiet a lot of the time...I just shhhhhhhh and gather my thoughts and delete unnecessary files ... So if I seem aloof... please don't worry...
This us just my technique for healing myself... So that I may allow myself to enjoy my energy more efficiently when it is most appropriate...
Adam is leaving us soon... I think that's BAD-ASS!!! Because it takes balls and a lot of conviction to do that... Plus... It's a great way to utilize choice... and be able to do whatever you want to do... To me... That's what being human is all about... So I can fully appreciate his decision... I wish him well and know that everything is in it's right place... Take care Adam! You are a good guy! Much love!
Well it's time to sleep...
Good night...
